Ipad Amazon Black Friday

There are thousands of Black Friday deals happening at Amazon this year, and among them are some pretty impressive markdowns on Apple iPads. Several Apple iPads are included in Amazon’s huge Black Friday sale. It’s the most affordable of the assortment, and it comes with all of the basic features that shoppers love, like a beautiful touch screen Retina display, long-lasting battery, lightweight feel, and built-in cameras. Given the expert-predicted product shortages and shipping delays that may occur this holiday season, not to mention the low stock for some models, sizes, and colors, this may be one of the only times you’ll be able to find Apple iPads in stock ahead of the holidays.

Black Friday iPad deals 2022: all you need to know

We can’t imagine that Apple will stand still on releasing new models, next year, either, so we expect this trend of continue. Right now, we’re a while away from iPad Black Friday 2022 deals, but you can read on for all you need to know about one of the biggest shopping events of the year.

Global supply chain issues in 2021 meant less stock and deals that sold out fast. While we don’t know exactly what the situation will be in 2022, we can still offer some advice for bagging the best Black Friday iPad bargain.

Assuming that you’d rather save actual cash money, you’ll need to go to other retailers to find discounts. In the UK, Currys, eBay, John Lewis and, again, Amazon are all good places to look for iPad deals. We’ll save you from having to continually scan all the major retailers’ sites by linking directly to the best Black Friday iPad deals as they appear. However it’s also the cheapest option, and while it pales in comparison to its siblings it’s still a handy tablet to have around with its A13 Bionic chip and support for the 1st gen Apple Pencil.

Apple’s new 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pros are a pair of preposterously powerful machines thanks to their M1 chips, and the great news is that if you’re planning to treat yourself this Black Friday, you should be able to save something on your purchase. The new iPad mini is a tiny slab of gorgeousness, and we’ve been amazed to spot small discounts on it both in the US and UK. With an M1 chip under the hood and an absolutely stunning display, it’s impossible to get better than this, and amazingly it’s possible to get discounts on it right now; nothing enormous but still a welcome chunk off the bottom line. The smaller and cheaper 11-inch iPad Pro is another top tablet for creatives, again powered by that mighty M1 chip.

Both iPad Pro models are available with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB or 2TB of memory for your photos, music and videos, and both work with the second-generation Apple Pencil. However if you want to use your iPad for drawing then you’ll want one with Apple Pencil support, which some of the older models don’t offer.

Black Friday iPad deals 2022: what we expect

Black Friday 2022 (opens in new tab) doesn’t start until November 25, but there are still plenty of discounts to be found now. Stay tuned for our pro predictions for the best Black Friday iPad deals in 2022 – they’ll be coming in the new year.

We’ve got a selection of the best deals right now, and below that you’ll find our top choices from the last Black Friday that may give you an idea of what to expect in 2022.

We saw a small $30 price cut on the latest iPad 10.2 shortly after it launched, but due to the stock issues, those early offers have now vanished.

Stock issues have finally caught up to the iPad Mini and it’s now back up to full price at Amazon. Save $120 – This isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen for the 12.9-inch 2021 iPad Pro, but given how the tablet is out of stock everywhere else right now it’s the best offer today.

The $120 saving off the regular price is still decent for the high-end tablet so one to go for if you don’t want to get caught out by stock issues and are fine with waiting until the new year for delivery. The tablet was out of stock for a brief window in November and Amazon is taking orders for delivery at a later and unspecified date.

Savings on the latest model were already exceedingly rare, so this may have just been pulled for the Christmas period and with a lack of stock following Black Friday. If you’re looking for a powerful tablet for design work you won’t beat this model – although some would say it’s overkill for the majority of casual applications.

Free Gift Card – Apple’s four-day Black Friday and Cyber Monday Shopping Event runs from November 26 through November 29, and gives you the chance to bag a $50 card when you buy either an Apple Watch SE or Series 3. All 2021 iPad mini colors are back in stock at Amazon this week – although there’s no price cut on the menu just yet.

If you’re looking to pick up the latest (and smallest) device in the range, this is currently the cheapest price on the market. This gets you the second generation Apple stylus, which works with newer iPads only, but packs additional features like magnetic attachment and wireless charging. Save $150 – The Apple Magic keyboard for the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro 12.9-inch is now discounted at Best Buy with a drop of $150. It might not seem like a wild discount, but it’s actually the cheapest price yet and really quite good considering this device is only a few months old as of writing. With a fantastic display and the incredible level of power the latest M1 chip affords, this one’s an easy recommendation if you’re looking for something truly premium. We may see more when Black Friday properly arrives, but this is still a good saving on a top variant of the iPad Air 2020.

Save £39.03 – While almost £40 off a year-old tablet isn’t anything huge to write home about, this is still the best price right now for the 256GB iPad Air 4. We gave this tablet a 4.5 star review citing its power, screen and the adventurous color choices as some of the main reasons to buy. Save £20 – This is the best deal for the iPad mini right now and people have obviously taken to it as the slate is temporarily out of stock, but Amazon will still let you place an order, you just might have to wait a bit longer to get it. This is for the original Apple Pencil, so make sure it’s compatible with your iPad and you’ll want to grab this before Cyber Monday ends. Popular items like iPads are always in danger of selling out over Black Friday and doubly so this year. For context, the new 2021 iPad Pro sold out in hours when Amazon recently discounted it by $100 (opens in new tab) in early November – a price that was at the time the lowest yet from the retailer.

The standard 2021 iPad 10.2 is also on backorder right now at Apple US until an eye-watering December 6th at the earliest (opens in new tab) – a date after Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year. It’s a pretty unscientific measure but we’re using it as an indicator for determining how likely a model is to sell out either on or before Black Friday. In general, UK retailers tend to be a little better stocked when it comes to iPad deals right now, so your mileage could vary a bit in this region.

UK retailers have also been a little slower off the mark in regards to offering up early Black Friday sales, so it could be the best prices are still yet to come.

November 26th is the official kick-off date for this year’s Black Friday iPad deals but we’ve already seen a ton of great price cuts. Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon have all already started their ‘Holiday deals’ season and that’s included some small discounts on iPads. The burning question here is – are the current crop of early Black Friday deals going to be the best prices this year, or will they get better? When it comes to finding the best Black Friday iPad deal, we’ve got a few top tips to follow to ensure you get the right product for the right price.

With hot ticket items over the Holiday sales period it always pays to know exactly what you want and what you’re looking for before you go in. By doing a little bit of research you’ll be able to spot the good Black Friday iPad deals from the bad, as well as save precious time on the day.

It’s not just iPads either, according to a report by Adobe (opens in new tab) the number of out-of-stock items is up a whopping 172% versus pre-pandemic levels – a statistic that doesn’t bode well for the shopping season this November. Following on from our previous advice, we’d recommend considering alternatives if you do find your iPad of choice sold out over Black Friday.

Even better still are the number of Black Friday tablet deals (opens in new tab) that we could see on other brands like Samsung, Amazon, and Lenovo. a great all-rounder for those on a budget Apple iPad Air: a mid-range, super-slim premium tablet

a mid-range, super-slim premium tablet Apple iPad Pro: incredibly powerful with lush screens, but pricey The latest 2021 Apple iPad 10.2 is a great place to start if you’re looking to get that iOS tablet experience without breaking the bank.

Both these tablets feature very powerful chips, a lovely squared-off design (very similar to the iPhone 13), and better screens than the standard 10.2 iPad. They not only look fantastic with their XDR retina displays (amazing for design work and media), but the M1 chip inside affords them near-MacBook levels of power. Both of these devices were given small price cuts in the pre-order phase, so retailers should at least repeat these for Black Friday. One of the best ways to predict what will happen in 2021 is to look back at last year’s best iPad Black Friday deals. Some of the highlights included record low prices on the entry-level 10.2-inch iPad, which was especially impressive considering Apple’s cheapest device was merely weeks old. Stock moved fast on these discounts on the iPad Air 4, which were particularly early considering this was such a new release at the time.

The previous generation iPad Air was seeing some discounts over at Best Buy as well, now that the brand new model was making itself at home on Apple’s shelves. The newest iPad Pro sports a stunning 12.9-inch edge-to-edge Liquid Retina display, and the fastest processor you’ll find in any tablet – and it was $70 less than usual at Amazon.

This excellent deal saved you £70 on 2019’s iPad Air 3, which has a 10.5-inch Retina display and a ten-hour battery life. Save £53 – John Lewis price matched the 256GB 11-inch iPad Pro in its Black Friday iPad deals last year, and offered a two year guarantee included in this price, making for extra peace of mind on top of the discount. There wasn’t a massive discount on this Apple Smart Keyboard, but it was the first time we’d seen the new iPad Pro accessory taking a price cut. It’s rare to find offers on these premium peripherals as well, so if you were looking to use your iPad for writing it was worth grabbing this while you could save some change.

As more information about this year’s Black Friday iPad deals comes to light we’ll be sure to return to update this page.

Black Friday iPad deals 2021 — best sales still available

The Black Friday iPad deals continue to be apparent and elusive at the same time. We’ll blame the supply chain, as Amazon and Best Buy are having trouble keeping the iPad in stock. Those include a new deal on the iPad Pro Magic Keyboard, a pretty rare item to see on sale. Now that Black Friday is over, we’ll be keeping an eye out for Cyber Monday iPad deals, so bookmark that page if you are still hoping to shop. In stock soon: The new 2021 iPad features Apple’s A13 Bionic CPU, a new 12MP front camera, and 64GB of storage (instead of 32GB like its predecessor). You also get support for Center Stage, which uses machine learning to adjust the front-facing camera during FaceTime video calls.

Save $100: Verizon is currently offering a Wi-Fi + cellular iPad mini for just $18.33 per month on a 30-month plan, which works out at $549 in total. It’s got a 10.9-inch display, a green chassis, nimble A14 Bionic CPU and (finally) USB-C charging.

It features a stunning 11-inch Liquid Retina display with 120Hz Pro Motion, TrueTone, and P3 wide color. Wi-Fi isn’t omnipresent yet, but Amazon’s also slashed $100 off this iPad Pro with cellular service. Editor’s Choice deal: Apple’s premium iPad just got a massive price cut. It features a stunning 12.9-inch Liquid Retina mini LED display (2732 x 2048) with 120Hz Pro Motion, TrueTone, and P3 wide color.

This configuration of the iPad Pro 2021 has 512GB storage and packs the powerful M1 chip, a mini-LED display, and 5G support. Discounted by $100, it’s one of the best Black Friday iPad deals if you require power and lots of storage. The perfect accessory for the new iPad Pro models, the 2nd-generation Apple Pencil helps you draw, sketch, take notes and more on your tablet. Support for double-tapping lets you easily change tools without setting it down, while the flat edge attaches magnetically for charging and pairing.

Compatible with the latest 12.9-inch iPad Pro, this model of the Apple Magic Keyboard doesn’t have as great a sale, but any discount here is still surprising. Amazon is taking up to 70% off select ZAGG iPad cases, screen protectors, and keyboards. It also includes an upgraded 12MP front camera with support for the iPad Pro’s Center Stage technology. However, last year retailers like Amazon and Best Buy offered the then just-released iPad for a low of $249.

According to Apple, the new CPU should provide a 40% jump in performance when compared to the previous iPad mini. That means any Black Friday iPad deals for this tablet will have to match or beat this $489 price point. iPad Pros: Apple’s professional tablets will see massive price cuts this holiday season. Expect Black Friday iPad deals to take from $100 to $350 off various configurations of these tablets.

It’s not light on power though, as the new 2021 model sports an A15 Bionic chip, which on paper makes it as fast as the new iPhone 13. Beloved by many, its portable size makes it ideal for reading, as well as writing emails and browsing social media.
