Xfinity Mobile Starts Hawking Apple Watch, iPads
“We’re excited to expand our lineup of Apple devices to include the advanced Apple Watch Series 4 with built-in cellular as well as the new iPad Air and iPad mini with LTE, helping support the growing mobile lifestyle of our customers, ” said Billy Stephens, senior vice president, Wireless Devices and Supply Chain, Xfinity Mobile. Whether Xfinity Mobile customers are out for a run, at the pool or just trying to be more active throughout their day, Apple Watch Series 4 with cellular allows them to stay connected, make calls, receive texts and more, even without their iPhone nearby.
Both devices are available in a variety of colors and data storage configurations on Xfinity Mobile, and feature great Wi-Fi performance and Gigabit-class LTE connectivity.
Xfinity Mobile has an absolutely bonkers deal on select Apple iPad models
To help it sign up customers (at last count it has 1.5 million of them since starting service in 2017), the cable company wanted to offer the Apple iPhone. Comcast wanted to offer the handset so badly, it agreed to sell thousands of Apple iPad tablets as part of the deal. Lastly, the 64GB 10.5-inch Wi-Fi + Cellular Apple iPad Pro is available in Rose Gold or Space Gray. No matter which iPad you buy, Xfinity Mobile will charge you a $10 monthly tablet line fee that is in addition to the cost of the data plan you select. Video streams at 480p on both plans, and if you consume over 20GB in a month your dataspeeds are throttled to 1.5 Mbps download/750 kbps upload.
