I know people who spurn any type of case on the basis that it ruins the devices lines, preferring to rely on insurance cover although personally I can do without the inconvenience of being without my gizmo while its being replaced. It’s easily put together, the integrated screen protector doesn’t appear to interfere with input (I also use a Boxwave stylus quite happily with it) and the detachable stand is so discrete that I tend to leave it in place.

We bought them iPad Minis for Christmas and I wanted to make sure our investment was well protected. I worried that my kids would break them or that they wouldn’t be able to get the iPads to stay in the stand, etc. My kids have been able to use them easily and only a handful of times did my youngest have trouble getting the stand to stay open. Yesterday he dropped his iPad and it fell off completely in spite of me reattaching it correctly several days earlier.

I think it should be fine, but be aware that the rear camera cover isn’t nearly as tough as the rest of the case.
