Xb102 Xtorm Power Bank Free 15000 Review

The housing feels very solid and soft, I think the size is perfect for a power bank. If you want to charge it quickly you need a good charger, I would recommend at least one of 2A, anything below that will take far too long. Otherwise you could use it as a kind of “charging hub” (in case you end up in a hotel room from 1907 with only 1 socket) and go to sleep with peace of mind knowing that the next morning all your devices are 100% ready for a new one.

$10 Power Bank vs. $100 Power Bank, What’s the Difference?

Because there are more and more people active on their mobile phones, laptops, and tablets for longer periods of time, these electronic devices are more powerful than ever. A power bank on hand is an ideal backup to recharge or top off a device when you are far from a wall outlet. There are many different types of power banks on the market today, but they all do essentially the same thing – allow people to charge their electronic devices.

Higher mAh ratings for the same battery type will generally mean longer run time.

The iPad Pro has a 10000 mAh+ battery so you will require a high capacity power bank for one full charge. It is very convenient to have the power bank if you are one that often forgets to charge your device overnight or you travel a lot, making it difficult to always have access to a wall outlet.

As well, the larger power banks tend to come with more than one output port which allows for charging more than one device at the same time. If you are traveling light or want to keep the portable power bank in a pocket it is important to be aware that size and weight will increase with capacity. If the description of a portable power bank does not specifically state your device, compare its specs to those of the charger you are considering. The release of power banks into the market has really helped with keeping people from experiencing the frustration of dealing with a dead or dying battery in small mobile and computing devices. Zendure power banks are equipped with long-term standby mode and hold up to 95% of the charge for 6 months. Lower quality power banks tend to hold a charge for no more than 4 to 6 weeks.

What’s the Best Capacity for a Power Bank?

Too many people think that we need to limit ourselves from phones, but the reality is that we rely on them to make life easier. Since the use of them rises, the battery life decreases, and at this point, you may want to consider getting a Power Bank to optimize better the way you function daily. Are you looking for a power bank to take to the office throughout the week and want to be known as the charging king at work?

That said, portable chargers with 3,000mAh or 5,000mAh capacities still have their place for charging certain devices, albeit a slim category. There are mainly two types of mini power banks you’ll find, though, and what would be standard ones that only make use of slower charging because they only use standard USB-A ports; on the other hand, you’ll find mini chargers that have slightly higher capacities and use fast charging. This PowerAdd portable charger is a perfect example of a modern-day standard mini power bank done right. The charger has a 5,000mAh power capacity that can charge some phones to full power at least once; however, if we’re talking about modern smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra that has a 5,000mAh battery, you can get close to charging the phone. This close to full power charging will be common with most phones these days as many of them are using much larger batteries than a few years ago.

It has a cylindrical shape that makes it easy to hold or to place into your pocket.

Most mini power banks use a Micro-USB input port for charging and include a Micro-USB cable; however, that tech is obsolete and slow charging, so we’re glad that this Xcentz power bank takes the more modern approach. Review: The Power Bank Free 15000mAh from Xtorm

More and more phones are coming with non removable batteries, and this means people are needing to carry backup power with them. Normally it’s a fight for who can charge theirs first, so I was pleased to get to try out the Power Bank Free from Xtorm, which rocks a 15o00mAh battery with 3 output ports!

You may have noticed the bright orange USB cable merged to the battery, this is a really nice feature for two reasons. It allows for quick and easy charging wherever you are, you don’t need to have an AC charger with you, or make sure you carry a spare USB cable.

The button I really liked, as it’s a brushed chrome material, allowing me to start and stop the charging procedure with a single press. The outer rim of the Power Bank is a white plastic, but on the top is a dark grey rubber material.

The premium materials, the total battery size, and the 3 outputs, make this a great family buy.

The Best High-Capacity Portable Battery Charger

The Monoprice Select Series 10,000mAh may be slightly bigger and heavier than the competition, but the pack’s incredibly low price makes it the clear winner. There is absolutely no need to fight for the only available AC jack in the waiting room, airport gate seating area, commuter train or anywhere else.

If you’re both a smartphone and tablet toter, or you spend long periods of time away from power jacks, a battery charger packing at least 10,000 milliampere-hours (mAh) is the way to go.

I found a dozen that met our capacity criteria, had a strong feature set and were from brands renowned for producing high-quality chargers.

It didn’t outright win any categories, but it held its own in the front-running group and came in at a ridiculously low price of $19.99. Each of these multijack packs is designed to recharge multiple devices simultaneously (Consult the chart below to see the varying jack/output combinations).

Caveat emptor — let the buyer beware — when it comes to advertising claims that more amps equals faster charging. The Ventev and the uNu Ultrapak Tour display the precise remaining power percentage on small built-in screens – nice, but not critical. Both the Monoprice and the TP-Link 10400 Power Bank include a little LED flashlight, and the uNu Superpak comes bundled with a separate dual micro-USB/Lightning cable.

The MyCharge RazorUltra clocked the fastest recharge time, with the uNu Superpak SP-14-1000B bringing up the rear.

The ioGear GearPower, TP-LINK 10400, the Lepow Poki and the iBattz BattStation 20400 chargers all took between six and seven hours to recharge an iPad. Looking purely at features and test results, the MyCharge HubUltra and Ventev Powercell 10000+ are the clear front runners.

By contrast, the Monoprice Select Series offered performance close to that of the MyCharge and Ventiv, in a slightly smaller package and, here’s the clincher, for only $19.99. So, when considered as a package the Monoprice Select Series Powerbank gets my pick for the all-around Best High-Capacity Portable Charger.
