[Review] Balenciaga Customized Black Shopping Phone Holder from TS Aadi : RepLadies
Ever since seeing the shopping phone holder bag at a Balenciaga store a few weeks ago, I knew that this mini purse had to be first RL purchase 🙂 I was sad to find very little reviews here on Balenciaga purchases, so I hope this helps anyone who also shares my love for this brand! Though I don’t remember 100%, I do think that the leather straps and round handles are more sturdy on the auth. The handle on the rep isn’t super flimsy, it stands up well on its own, but when squished, it feels like there’s foam inside rather than Nappa Lambskin. The blue graffiti on the back is slightly shifted more down on the auth, leaving an inch of empty space on the top – as is with the rep.
I will note that the black shopping phone holder on the Balenciaga website is different than the edition that I have, specifically with the leather finish. But to my surprise, it doesn’t look any longer than on the website and youtube reference videos.
The only thing that holds me back from walking into a Balenciaga store and carrying this in is that the length of the rounded handles are shorter on the rep than the auth. (-1) Though I’m not super worried since I live in a lowkey city where outdoor active brands are touted around more than designer. All I need is a small purse that holds my phone, wallet, keys, and chapstick which is exactly what this bag is perfect for.
Maybe it’s because it doesn’t have an annoying zipper I have to undo each time I need to open my purse, but I love just being able to drop my stuff inside and then the magnet automatically closing it.
Makes a lot of sense as to why it’s called a Phone Shopping Bag now 🙂 For reference, it can fit my iPhone XS, car keys, card wallet, airpods, and a few chapstick. For my first RL purchase, I’m so glad I went with Aadi because the process from start to end was so smooth and I have no doubt that I will be a returning customer.”
