Zebronics Zeb-Rocket Bluetooth Speaker Review
Audio accessory maker Zebronics has a big portfolio of portable Bluetooth speakers priced below Rs. The Zeb-Rocket is built entirely of plastic but the quality is good and the finish of the parts doesn’t feel crude. It’s a little weird to see such an old standard still being used, but thankfully, other than consuming more power than the current versions, it doesn’t have any effect on the sound quality itself. There’s no IPXX water resistance and no in-built microphone, so you can’t answer calls through the speaker.
Setting up the speaker as simple as flipping on the power switch and finding it in your phone’s Bluetooth pairing list. In tracks like Lock Doh by Giggs, the sub-bass is pretty much non-existent as the speaker doesn’t support that frequency range.
Tracks like Brain Damage by Pink Floyd miss out on a lot of detail, and vocals aren’t crisp either. Our experience was a bit better when playing songs directly through a wired connection or through a pen drive, but not by much. We would have liked a microSD card slot instead of or in addition to the USB port, since you can’t close the flap when using a pen drive. The level we typically used didn’t go above 40 percent, and with this, we managed to get around 6 hours and 55 minutes of continuous playback time before the battery was completely dead. The Zebronics Zeb-Rocket has a very attractive price, and while you do get a lot of playback features, the audio quality is simply not up to the mark. The shape of this speaker’s body suggests that it can deliver good bass, but this isn’t the case at all.
FM radio and USB playback are nice additions but not enough to make up for the poor sound quality.

If you play in full volume, it can last upto 5 Hours or more. Is budget is the main concern and wanted to buy a Bluetooth Speaker at a very low and didn’t know which to go for it? However, this Zebronics Zeb County Bluetooth Speaker with Built-in FM Radio, Aux Input and Call Function has not that top notch features.

Zebronics Zeb-Action review: A loud portable Bluetooth speaker with good battery backup
I was in search of a portable Bluetooth speaker which is loud and has a good battery backup. My search ended when I found this Zebronics Zeb-Action portable Bluetooth speaker on Amazon. Accidently it fell from my hand once, but thanks to its build quality, there’s no scratch or anything. But the only downside it that it doesn’t look or feel premium, but you can’t complain cause it provides a lot of feature in such a competitive price range of Rs 1100.
It is very loud, I couldn’t put it on 100% volume for normal use in my room. The bass is also good and the sound doesn’t crack if you put in on full volume. Zebronics claims the Bluetooth speaker will last 12 hours at 50% volume. The only thing which caught my eye is that the portion where you need to connect the charger is covered by a rubber material. I felt with time the rubber cover would come off, which will then make it difficult to use it outdoor. You can get a stereo-like experience when the speaker is paired in a truly wireless function to another similar model.
You can also just turn on the speaker and without connecting it to any Bluetooth device, just plug in an AUX cord or a USB or a micro-SD card and enjoy the music. You need to have the micro USB cable plugged in which will act as the antenna.
Then long-press the ‘M’ button and it will auto search the radio channels.
After the search is complete you can press the +/- button to change the radio stations. It’s very confusing to turn the radio on and then search for the channels. Personally, I would suggest you to buy this product if you are looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker in this price range.
The main criteria for me were to have a Bluetooth speaker which has great audio quality and lasts long enough. Most of the other speakers don’t even offer FM radio function, so you can omit that part.
