Anyone find their battery level falling while charging and using the headset with the default accessories at the same time? Facebook has made a gambit: the default fit of Quest 2 is not bad enough to scare people away and destroy the VR business. Budget to buy a new face gasket that fits you and is more comfortable than the worthless one that Quest 2 comes with. This is a missing feature that you can easily remedy, and it will make a notable difference to your VR experience.

The Quest 2 controllers DO come with 5 cent safety strings to prevent you from throwing them at the wall, so there’s that! Once you’re done fixing everything that’s wrong with the entry-level Quest 2, you’ll be out a couple hundred more bucks, and this extra cost will make high-end PC VR look affordable again.

So I have a decent pc (Gtx 1080 & Ryzen 5 2600 coupled with 16GB of RAM) and I would love to experience VR with it. From what I know, Vive has the best tracking, best support for Steam games, and has a great safety feature with boundaries and camera.

That’s mostly curiosity about whether anything high end is wireless yet though, as I’m not interested in the Oculus Go.
