Sades A6 Orange LED are bright and looks good against the black. But, after using them to play some games in a dark room the bright orange LED really makes a statement. The first thing I wanted to talk about in terms of the build quality is the headband. Whilst the steel construction makes it fairly strong, the overall build quality is actually quite poor.
They’re really soft and provide a good tight fit to help minimize background noise. It’s a neat idea and I don’t have to spend ages adjusting each side individually.
The volume, microphone and RGB light are all controlled via the multi-functional in-line remote. The 40mm diameter Hifi Speaker has high sensitivity and accurate sound reproduction.
It’s heavily hip-hop orientated and as expected the gaming headset lacked any real punch to the low end. I can’t say I’m surprised, as gaming headsets that I’ve reviewed all tend to have poor bass levels. The SADES A6 is worth purchasing if you are looking for a dedicated gaming headset and aren’t to bothered about having a great all rounder for listening to music. It’s also well worth buying if you are on a tight budget and want some added features such as LED lighting and in-line controls.
Sades A6 Upgraded Version Review: 7.1 Gaming Headset
Good sounding and reasonably priced, the Sades A6 upgraded version is a better quality gaming headset than the price tag suggests and, on top of that, the Sades A6 comes with a suspension headband and an external boom microphone for in-game chatting!The suspension headband integrates an inner band made of a hard plastic with a black/grey checkered pattern. The self adjusting mechanism of the suspension band works well without issues.The Sades A6 headband yoke doesn’t have the traditional curvy Y design.
The orange led panel is protected by a non-metallic perforated grill and produces a pulsing fading light.A chunky remote control can be found inline the cable, featuring a large volume knob and two clicky buttons for muting/unmuting the microphone and turning off/on the RGB lighting of the Sades A6 headset. The earcup depth is 15mm and covered with thin orange fabric and a black mesh on top.The Sades A6 leatherette earpads are designed to go over the ears and provide a comfortable fit for a 2-hour gaming session.

It is a budget-friendly pair of lightweight gaming headphones with virtual 7.1 surround sound and “breathing” LED lights on the ear pads. They are comfortable to wear and the bright white lights on the ear pads and tip of the microphone really make a statement when playing games in a darkened room.
The SADES A6 are fitted with a generous 2.2 metre cable to give that extra bit of space between the headphones and your devices. The lightweight steel frame and cushioned soft plastic headband makes them very comfortable to wear.
The over-sizing of the cups helps to block out most external noise and are extremely comfortable to wear (especially when gaming for an hour or more). She found the audio and microphone to be crystal clear, the virtual 7.1 surround sound chip has an excellent level of detail in games.
As lockdown continues and we’re not allowed to mix with other households, they’ll be fantastic for helping her to keep in contact with her friends and she has even asked if she can use them for some of her school’s online Teams homework group!
Sades A6 and A7 Gaming Headset Reviews
This I found to be an excellent trick that works ideally with MMO’s and strategy games where you don’t need millisecond accuracy responses like in CS:GO where you have to hear someone’s footsteps behind you for example, so unless you are a top notch FPS player and depend on hearing your opponent coming up behind you this is a very good simulated 7.1 surround experience. Both headsets have a very similar microphone and the same earcups and padding, but I will blow up an image showing the subtle differences here. Based on using both headsets I found the pivot earcups to be far superior in adjusting to my head and ears and provide a more comfortable fit than the Sades A6 but it was only a slight difference.
