Come along with me as I go through some of the many features found on the Logitech Zone Wireless Bluetooth headset for your computer and mobile devices. Additionally, I’ll play some loud music so you can hear how well this Logitech wireless headset is able to reduce that annoying background noise you have to deal with on a daily basis.
With the Logitech Zone Wireless, you get can enjoy a stout 14 hours of talk time per charge.
To me, this seems not only very adequate in terms of battery duration, but the quick five minute charge for a full 1 hour of use can be handy in a lot of cases too. One of the great benefits of the Logitech Zone Wireless Bluetooth Headset is that you have the choice to use its ANC or not. Kids out of control yelling, fighting and throwing toys around behind your work station? Dog barking for several minutes at a time whenever he sees the mailman drive by, or, God forbid, approach the house to deliver the mail? Maybe the landscape crew decided that the weed eater and lawnmower are most efficient when used right outside your office window.
No matter the source, when you have ANC on your side, you can help reduce the intensity of that out-of-control noise and stay focused on your important work. While on the subject of reducing noise, you might want to check out our video review of this wireless Bluetooth headset. In the video, we briefly discuss a new AI software package that is available to further reduce distracting noise in your workplace. Unlike real-world conditions that have to contend with things such as barriers (walls, elevators, brick, steel, you name it), you should expect to receive less than what you might read on a spec sheet.
To sum it up, the Logitech Zone Wireless Bluetooth Headset performed and passed our test with flying colors. Logitech claims an estimated 100 feet of wireless talk range, and we got very close. Though not a full 100 feet, it did well considering how many walls the wireless signal had to penetrate to maintain the connection.
Unlike other brands that place limits on your ability to connect, the Logitech Zone Wireless helps to keep you flexible.
This is a handy feature if you need to have a quick side conversation or maybe you’re mashing that ham sandwich while powering your way through lunch at your desk. Some prefer one over the other, and the Zone Wireless gives you the option to locate the boom on the side of your choice.
These audio tech features help to provide you with a better sound experience for your calls and music. We spend long, hard hours at our desks fielding calls and performing our work duties.
The Logitech Zone Wireless Bluetooth headset is average in terms of weight.
Certainly, though, the weight of this headset makes it light enough to allow you to wear it for extended periods of time with a comfortable, snug but not tight fit on your head.
Some wireless headsets don’t provide enough padding, which can lead, over time, to you feeling the hard plastic speaker housing that lies beneath the ear cushions. This makes it more compact and convenient if traveling because you no longer have to tote around a bulky pair of headphones.
You can collapse it down and pack it away into a briefcase, suitcase or handbag to free up your hands and make travel easier. Rather than having a hard metal piece pressing against the top of your head, you’re treated with a soft, neoprene type of cushion to lend more comfort to your dome as you wear the Logitech Zone Wireless Bluetooth Headset. Historically, a 2 year warranty is more in common with what you get when purchasing a wired headset, not a wireless model. You’re even seeing some headset providers offering 3 year warranties, like the Discover brand for example. The Logitech Zone Wireless has a suggested selling price of $229.95, though it’s currently offered on our website for $209.99, and it can even be rented for under $15.00 per month. The sound quality is good, and having the Active Noise Cancellation feature is unexpected for a headset in this price range.
It folds down and stows in the included pouch for convenient traveling, and the 14 hours of talk time and 5 minute charge to get an hour of use is more than just ok. And, being able to swing the microphone boom arm up to mute is a nice feature and very convenient when needing a quick side conversation, or taking that needed sip of morning coffee. When we finish doing reviews and comparisons of the technical equipment we produce for our Youtube channel, we give it away.

Logitech Zone Wireless Review
Logitech’s Zone Wireless Bluetooth headset is pricey at $199.99, but it has a lot going for it including a handsome design, an exceptionally comfortable fit, and above-average active noise cancellation (ANC). The boom mic is located on the left earcup, and has a smooth swivel action to it that allows for easy, pinpoint placement, and for it to be out of your line of sight when not in use.
The underside of the headband is nicely padded with rubber-like material, and the overall fit and feel is secure and exceptionally comfortable, even over long listening sessions.
The outer panel of the same earcup houses plus/minus controls for volume, and a central button for playback, call management, and track forward/backward. Logitech claims the operational range of the Zone Wireless is roughly 100 feet—our tests yielded solid results up to about 70 feet, but then we had walls to contend with. The Zone Wireless utilizes an omni-directional, dual-MEMS mic array that cancels out background noise, with a frequency range of 85Hz-20kHz.
You’ll still hear nearby loud music, but the lower frequencies will disappear almost completely, and office chatter or coffee shop clatter are somewhat lessened, too. Callahan’s baritone vocals get some low-mid boosting, and can use a bit more high-mid presence, but fiddling with the app’s EQ can make things crisper. The Logitech Zone Wireless headset is exceedingly comfortable, offers solid mic intelligibility in noisy environments, and delivers a decent music experience, too. That said, the Zone Wireless doesn’t provide the top-notch HD Voice mic clarity we’ve heard from headsets like $220 Plantronics Voyager 4220 UC. The Bottom Line Logitech’s Zone Wireless Bluetooth headset delivers solid mic intelligibility in loud environments, along with some decent noise cancellation and audio performance.
Review: Logitech Zone Wireless – my 2020 Lockdown Headset
As we cleared our desks, grabbed what we thought we’d need for – well, we didn’t really know, I guessed maybe a month (!!) Because these two devices are the means by which 100% of your interaction happens.” Tweet This “right now I think having a decent headset and webcam arecomponents of your setup. A good quality headset has always been an important part of a successful UC strategy, and we are lucky to have plenty of choice. If you are to bring your best self to a meeting, be taken seriously and land your point – then in 2020, more so than ever, you need to consider what devices you are using and whether they are helping you to achieve those goals.
causing annoyance to other people in the house because your active noise cancelling means you’re shouting during calls It’s against this backdrop that I review the Logitech Zone Wireless headset, because I feel like that’s the reality for many people today.
The headband expands with a slider, it doesn’t have “clicking” set points – meaning you can get it exactly right. The sound is immersive, all I can hear are the birds singing, the water in the background and the soothing voice instructing me to concentrate on my breathing….
This is NOT super obvious – there are left/right markings on the inside of the headband, but they don’t stand out. I thought maybe it was just me, but even Logitech’s stock product shots appear to show them with the boom extended for wearing the “wrong” way around: I have mapped the double press action to the “Headset status report” which tells me the battery state. Also worth noting is that you can configure the sleep settings via the app as well – meaning that if you do leave it on, it won’t drain the battery overnight.
Personally, I tend to prefer toggle switches because it’s more obvious what the current state is. It’s successfully withstood some fairly robust handling from the smallest member of the house, who loves pretending to “work like Daddy”… This has been a huge win for me in lockdown – we already have a number of wireless chargers around the house, so I can take calls from multiple places and then leave my headset there overnight rather than taking it back to my study to charge it. It sounds like a silly thing, but my study is next door to the nursery and so there are very definite “no-entry” times if I don’t want to be responsible for ruining a good night’s sleep… I can add more headset charging points anywhere I like, for relatively little money by using standard Qi chargers. Note though, that by default the wireless charger isn’t included – only a USB cable for charging.
I recorded a short video using the Logitech Zone Wireless headset as the audio input source, both in a quiet room and with noisy cafe background sounds. By cranking the Sidetone right up I can make sure that I don’t raise my voice too much, and disturb everyone else.
It’s a silly, small thing – but when everyone is living within the same four walls, stuff like that really does make a difference. Given how much I’ve been on Microsoft Teams in the past few weeks: that’s a real achievement. Personally, the On/Off/Pair button still annoys me – but I’ve got around that by just keeping it on all the time and putting it on the wireless charger when I’m not using it. If you’re after a solid workhorse that will make you sound good, then you should definitely consider the Logitech Zone Wireless headset.
Logitech Zone Wired Review
Logitech’s promotional material also lists similar compatibility with Zoom and Skype, but we don’t test this. The in-line remote also has buttons for pausing and playing music and volume control, both of which offer good levels of clicky physical feedback.
Logitech Zone Wired headset
Logitech Zone Wireless headset review: Optimized for open workspaces
The Logitech Zone Wireless headset is an effective way to regain some privacy in open office settings. Logitech’s Zone Wireless headset is designed to address a specific situation: open offices. Noise and lack of privacy can kill productivity and raise stress levels, ultimately leading to lower job satisfaction.
The Zone Wireless headset uses active noise cancellation to block out distractions, and a self-muting microphone that makes it easy to switch between listening to tunes and talking on the phone. The headset weighs 6.4 ounces and has a silicone-padded metal headband that provides a snug fit without feeling constrictive. I used the Zone Wireless in my home office, and though I don’t normally wear a headset I quickly found this one essential.
Though these aren’t headphones for dedicated music listening, playback quality was better than average, with clearly defined highs and lows. I’d recommend the Zone Wireless headset to anyone working in an open office or other busy workspace.
Logitech Zone Wireless Headset Review
Whatever the reason, I cannot deny that Logitech’s Zone Wireless Headset are a pretty solid pair of headphones. Mounted to the side of the right earpad—although it can be worn on either side— is the Zone Wireless’ mic, which is on a swivel that automatically mutes when up, and unmutes when brought down. Adding to the practicality, the speakers offer a frequency response of 30~13 kHz @ -10dB while in “music mode,” which changes to 100~8 kHz while in “talk mode.” Coupled with an ANC which can be toggled on and off, the Zone Wireless provides an optimal experience for when you need to put on some lofi and get focused on your work, or when you need to take an important call.
Honestly, the only real complaint I have with the Zone Wireless headset comes from when you have both the dongle and Bluetooth connected, as any incoming notifications will pause whatever media you may have playing.
